Peter O’Hara is Chief Executive Officer of Dauntless Discovery and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Peter co-founded Dauntless Discovery in 2016, bringing more than 15 years of industry leadership, litigation and project management experience to his role with the company. Peter oversees the corporate direction and strategy for Dauntless’s operations including project management, sales, marketing, recruitment, training and development. Peter believes “It is our job as a company to partner and collaborate with our clients to help reduce their eDiscovery costs while delivering a superior work product.” Before founding Dauntless Discovery, Peter was an Associate at Morgan Lewis for 11 years, where he focused on eDiscovery project management for the pharmaceutical, technology, energy, healthcare, and financial industries. Over the years Peter has developed cost-effective eDiscovery workflows that have saved his clients time and money. Peter earned his J.D. from Quinnipiac University and a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Pittsburgh.
Jonathan Hanks is Chief Operating Officer of Dauntless Discovery and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. He co-founded Dauntless Discovery in 2016, bringing more than 11 years of experience to his role with the company. As chief operating officer, he directs global legal operations for Dauntless, including its staffing, end-to-end discovery services, marketing and sales. For over 10 years, Jonathan served as both a Senior Attorney and Associate at Morgan Lewis in Philadelphia. In these positions, he focused on developing discovery management strategies and advising clients on the implementation of defensible, cost-effective approaches on all phases of the EDRM model. Jonathan also served as national discovery counsel for a global technology company, where he implemented comprehensive and consistent discovery plans to enhance efficiency, minimize risk and streamline the discovery process. Jonathan earned his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire and a bachelor’s degree in Government & Law from Lafayette College.
Katie Langston joined Dauntless Discovery in 2017. As President of Southeast Operations, she oversees active managed review matters and coordinates training and development for our team of document review attorneys. Prior to joining Dauntless, Katie gained over twelve years of experience in the eDiscovery realm as an Associate with Morgan Lewis in Philadelphia. In that role, Katie advised clients on document collection, review, and production strategies. She managed document review matters of all scales in areas of law ranging from employment law to healthcare to financial services and beyond. Katie has years of experience with incorporating the latest technologies into workflows for ensuring high quality, efficient work product. She also writes and lectures on eDiscovery matters. Katie earned her J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she served as Publication Editor for the Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation. She received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Davidson College.
As President of Northeast Operations for Dauntless Discovery, Emil is responsible for supervising a hybrid team of technologists and attorneys who oversee the eDiscovery needs of the company’s law firm and corporate clients. Prior to joining Dauntless, Emil worked as an Associate and Practice Group Data Analytics Manager at Morgan Lewis in Philadelphia for fourteen years. In those roles, he was responsible for leading attorneys and data analytics professionals across multiple U.S. offices and managing legal projects involving all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model. Emil was also a manager with United Parcel Service (UPS) for over 10 years where he worked in operations, workforce planning, and industrial engineering leading large-scale, technology-intensive projects involving resource allocation, cost reduction, and containment. Emil earned his J.D. from San Francisco Law School and his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University.
With over ten years of experience in electronic discovery, Andrew has managed complex discovery for litigations and investigations ranging from 20,000 records to over five million records. Andrew has worked on hundreds of cases involving intellectual property, antitrust, pharmaceuticals, employment, energy, financial services, and SEC investigations. Andrew has performed Early Case Assessments to help clients and counsel accurately assess risk, reduce costs, and prepare for meet-and-confer conferences. Through the effective and efficient use of cutting-edge technology, Andrew is committed to offering his clients the best solution for all of their discovery needs whether through Advanced Analytics, de-duplication, clustering, Technology Assisted Review, or Predictive Coding. Andrew earned his J.D. from Temple University Law School and his Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia University.
Steve leads Dauntless’s Legal Services department supporting the strategic growth and operational excellence. Steve brings over 25 years’ experience in litigation technology, software development, consulting, and services. Previously Steve served as a Vice President at Ipro Tech where he managed Ipro’s operation infrastructure and processes. Before Ipro Steve was COO and co-founder of Lex Solutio, a pioneer legal services company. Lex Solutio was acquired by Encore Discovery in 2003 where Steve continued as a Sr. Vice President. He has been a part of the sale of three companies and is a voice for innovation and company culture.
Craig brings over 18 years of experience as a global leader in eDiscovery services, technology, and workflow design to his position at Dauntless Discovery. With three Relativity certifications, he has achieved his Relativity Expert status. Craig is known for his passion for automation through development and creating efficient workflows.
Before joining Dauntless, Craig has led a worldwide team and held senior operations positions with Consilio, Advanced Discovery, Encore Discovery Solutions, and eDox.
As a 20-year industry veteran, Tommy has built his reputation in the field of litigation support on his passion for customer service and networking. Since the year 2000, Tommy has been immersed in the evolution of data growth and has effectively guided law firms and corporate clients in hundreds of matters as they relate to efficiently adapting to changes in technology and ever-increasing data volumes. In addition to supporting clients in achieving their project goals, he prides himself on his unique ability and sincere desire to help his client base achieve their own professional success through introductions and connections. As Executive Vice President of Sales, Tommy will drive business development efforts with a core focus on long-term client relationships established through integrity, clear communication and quality customer service. He is a graduate of Don Bosco Prep and Villanova University.
With 15-plus years in the industry, Kenny has spent the majority of his career in the sales space working with top law firms and corporations. He has watched the legal world evolve from paper discovery to eDiscovery, and his interest in technology led him to extend his role, for a time, into project management. His reputation is based on hard work, drive for customer service, and continued learning of industry tools and technology, while his education in project management has put him in a unique position by giving him insight into what takes place behind the scenes of a discovery matter. As Executive Vice President of Sales, Kenny will guide clients to the most effective processes and technologies for accurate, streamlined, and cost-effective means of litigation.
